As experiential and retail-based marketing continues to evolve, our invisible speaker devices are being used in more and more installations that are pushing the boundaries in terms of both imagination and innovation.
A recent example was a project at Heal’s department store on Tottenham Court Road – which we are excited to say has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s BT Retail Week Technology Awards!
The iconic home furniture retailer launched an interactive window display, which was designed to make passers-by take maximum notice of what’s on show.
The creative display featured three separate bedroom scenes, each including a television playing well-known film footage as supplied by Warner Bros Entertainment. People passing the store were able to not only watch but hear the films thanks to our Whispering Window invisible speakers, which converted the entire windowpanes into speakers, enabling the film track to be heard both inside and outside the store.
We are delighted that the project has captured the imagination of the judges for the “RichRelevance Customer Experience Technology of the Year” category, and so we look forward to updating you on the outcome of the award when the winners are announced on 19 June. Wish us luck!
